Straud is a statistical tool. It does not provide investment, financial, legal, tax or accounting advice, and nothing it produces is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, contract, currency or other instrument.
Straud has no market data, no broker connection and no knowledge of your positions or circumstances. It never sees a security. It reads a column of numbers and reports on the statistical properties of those numbers and on the process that produced them. It cannot recommend an investment, because it does not know what the investment is.
Its output is not tailored to your objectives, financial situation, capital, tax position or risk tolerance. If you need advice, consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction.
Straud never reports "PASS". Its most favourable verdict is Survives, which means exactly this and nothing more:
It passed the tests we ran, and here is what we did not test.
Every report lists the checks that did not run. That list is part of the result. A report with a clean verdict and eight untested items has told you about eight untested items.
In particular, Straud cannot:
It tests inference, not economics.
Trading and investing involve substantial risk of loss, including loss of your entire capital. Leveraged instruments can lose more than the amount deposited. Past performance and backtested results do not indicate future results, and backtested results in particular are hypothetical and carry well-documented biases that no software can fully remove.
You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and their consequences.

Straud may contain errors. Its statistical checks are validated against 204 published anomalies the authors did not produce; the artifact-integrity and execution-realism checks rest on constructed cases and a sweep of real research artifacts, not on external ground truth. Findings may be wrong in either direction: it may miss a real defect, and it may flag something sound.
Verify anything material independently before acting on it.
Straud processes data locally. It transmits nothing, contains no telemetry or analytics, and requires no account. Your strategy data does not leave your machine.
(If a hosted service is offered in future it will carry its own privacy policy and terms; this paragraph describes the local software only.)
